Cristina & Luca / Tropical wedding in Villa Rizzardi, Verona

I’m a wedding photographer and I worked many times in Villa Rizzardi. This wedding talk about a beautiful couple from Verona.

Cristina and Luca are a couple since 5 years and they live between Verona, Paris and Milan.
Their wedding in Villa Rizzardi was inspired by Tropical theme, with influences from Moldovan tradition (bride’s country of birth).

In 2016 they lived for a few months in Sydney. In the same year Luca proposed to Cristina in the wonderful Emerald Beach in Byron Bay.

In June 2018 they get married with catholic ceremony in the little church of Santa Maria in Valverde, with its breathtaking view over Valpolicella.

The location for the reception was Villa Rizzardi, immersed in the Valpolicella vineyards. The Venue is full of “hidden corners” to be exploit in every different moment of the wedding day: from the welcome in the Italian garden to the aperitif in the English garden and the dinner set up in the tree-lined avenue until the cut of the cake and the party in the theater while the DJ set started inside the villa and ended late at night.

Cristina worn a beautiful Natalya Shubina bride’s dress and a pair of Jimmy Choo bride’s shoes, while in the evening she worn a dress made by herself. Luca worn a groom suit by Gabriele Pasini.

The dinner location was extremely “tropical” with an imperial wedding table of 40 meters set with hundreds of candles and tropical flowers as proteas, palms and orchids. The wedding favors were a jar of Italian honey for women and a bottle of Moldovan cognac for men.

I’m a wedding photographer and I often work in Villa Rizzardi, but this wedding has been an unforgettable day.
Below you can find some pictures of the wedding day.
